My name is Erin. I live in Southern California and I'm a wife, mother of two and Realtor.
Recently, the company which employs my husband, was bought. This means nationwide layoffs. Saying we were/are nervous, is an understatement. I started thinking about every penny I spent. Since I'm sure many people are faced with this same, or similar, situation (especially in today's economy) I decided to start this blog. Not only would it be therapeutic, but someone else may actually benefit as well.
Also, if you'd like, drop me a line and let me know YOUR recession tips at erinalicia@hotmail.com. I'd love to hear from you.
I can't follow at this time. I'm being asked to try again later.
ReplyDeleteI do have a recession tip. One should repeat to yourself 20 times in a row daily (almost like saying the rosary) and as often as you can throughout your day this affirmation; "everyday, in every way, I'm getting better and better". That's it. It was from a book that is now out of print by a French Pharmacist/Psychologist named Emile Coue' (pronounced coo-ay)1857-1926. He is believed to have been the true founder of personal development through autosuggestion & positive affirmation. This short statement is said to have, among many outer things, helped scores of people through the great depression. I happened to come across him through a fellow named Burt Goldman aka The American Mont. Google them both if you like. Good luck to you!
